AOP 2 – Evaluation of the sample antioxidant cellular mode of action : testing for Nrf2 transcription pathway activation.

Dose-effect measurement of the cell defence in response to oxidative stress by Nrf2 pathway activation. Result demonstrates the ability of the sample to enhance the cellular antioxidant defence system. This information reinforces the value of the sample by showing its ability to act not only as an antioxidant but also as an inducer of cellular antioxidant defence.
